Established in 1986 - Dorsey Construction Materials have since these very first days in business over 20years ago, concentrated upon providing fast and efficient service to house-builders and commercial construction companies. It was clear from the start that there was a need within the industry for specialist suppliers, traditional general Builders Merchants provide a valuable resource and allow general builders the benefit of a one stop shop - but at a cost. Concentrating upon house-building and brickwork related materials, Dorsey CM hold comprehensive stocks, understand the products and how they are used, appreciate the pressures of running busy sites as well as the need for customers to buy at the very best rates.

Our staff are our most valuable resource - we ensure that all of our employees understand the importance we place on customer care. Dorsey CM know it is important to be able to advise and assist customers on product choice when asked and so product training is viewed as important and is ongoing.

Working closely with customers, learning how they work and creating ways to improve what we do for them ensures that our service continually improves and evolves.

Recent additions / improvements to our customer service include the provision of extra transport resources to enable next morning delivery to become our standard and free service, and also, the offering of our take off serviceallowing customers the option of having us create a detailed and priced schedule of materials required from their drawings.
