Pricing Policy
You will find that we at Dorseys know that pricing is as important to you as service, we like to win every challenge and to secure every order, a pretty tough goal! You can always expect fair and reasonable pricing across our complete range of products and the better the order and/or the more established the account, the more generous we can be with our discounts. Should you find you are able to buy any item elsewhere at a cheaper rate, please do let us know, we would much prefer to Price Match in these instances than to lose your business.
Our List Prices
Why have List Rates, why not keep it simple and print our cut to the bone, cheapest net rate? Dorseys are approached by a wide range of people, most are established building companies with sites within our delivery area - and so to you our list prices are not much more than an initial guide to cost as we will almost always be able to sell for lower rates. However there are many cases (increasingly thanks to the internet) where we are being asked to supply a small quantity of product to a non professional many miles away, in these instances our List Price does at least provide a little cover and allow us to satisfy the order and the customer.
Discounts
Not a dirty word at Dorseys, you are right to expect recognition for your order size, your order value, the size of your company, your loyalty to us as a customer, the promptness in which you settle your account each month, etc. Any/all of these factors go towards helping us to help you, plus, we don't look at every order in isolation, if you are a regular customer and find yourself needing say one more box of Wallties, we would expect you to pay no more per box than you did within the original consignment. We don't penalise customers, rather we are here to help your building work progress smoothly and within budget.
